pure water systems

I live in a community where there is a proliferation of water refilling stations. So far I’ve counted 14 stations within a two kilometer radius. They offer all kinds of water technologies all claiming to have the purest water available. As a consumer I really want to know what is the best among the pure water systems available in the market today. I also want to know the difference between each technology.

I noticed that the most common of the pure water systems in our area is purified and distilled drinking water. The say they are pure because they strip all impurities and bacteria in the water. Mineral water on the other hand claims their purity from taking out all the bacteria in their water and leaving only the healthy minerals that is beneficial to the body. Alkaline water on the other hand claims if you drink their water your body will be more alkaline thereby making you healthier. While oxygenated water says their water has extra oxygen particle making their water “super water” or O3. The more I read the more confused I get.
