How to Enjoy your Cup of Herb Tea
Natural infused drinks have become so popular these days. Commonly referred to as herbal teas, they are favored for several reasons. First they are taken for their flavor. A cup of tea is enjoyable to sip whether alone or with company. And then it has benefits that will vary with each kind of tea. Mint tea will cool you off, cinnamon tea will warm you up and chamomile tea will calm you down. A cup of tea may also be taken for its medicinal benefits.
Here are a few tips on how to enjoy your cup of herb tea.
- Bring your water to a boil and pour it over the herb. Do not put the herb in the water while you are heating it up.
- Never add milk (cream or other whiteners). These can actually change the properties of the herb tea you are drinking.
- Never drink a cup of herbal tea just because someone recommended it unless it’s your doctor who did the recommendation. Always learn about the herb you are about to ingest.
