yohimbe

There is a bark used in Western Africa for fevers, leprosy and coughs. It is called yohimbe and it has also been used to dilate pupils and serve as a local anesthetic. Recently though, yohimbe has been known to be an effective aphrodisiac and a hallucinogen. It has been shown in double-blind trials to help treat men with erectile dysfunction.

For the treatment of this condition, it has been said that a safe amount of yohimbe for any product is 15-30mg per day. Traditionally, about 5-10 drops of a tincture of the bark has been used by West African natives three times a day. To be safe, use this supplement only under the proper guidance of a physician.
