antioxidant supplement
For years now, scientists have studied the effects of antioxidants on our health. They have determined that antioxidants help boost the body’s immune system. Recent studies have also shown that antioxidants provide the necessary protective layer over healthy cells and tissues in the body. A daily intake of an antioxidant supplement is definitely essential for the body to remain immune to diseases. This includes certain cancers and cardiovascular disorders.
There are different kinds of antioxidants:
1. Vitamin E â known to reduce the risk for various age-related diseases.
2. Vitamin C â helps the body in the regeneration and protection of healthy cells and tissues.
3. Beta-carotene â helps in growth and bone development.
4. Selenium â helps boost the immune system, improves hair and nail growth and helps reduce the risk of certain cancers.
