I do not generally wear perfumes. I have a very sensitive sense of smell, sometimes when I am seated beside someone with an overpowering perfume, I get a runny nose. I feel the same way about colognes. Men sometimes make the mistake of practically dousing themselves with cologne, this makes me nauseous. A few months ago, a friend gave me a Dolce Gabbana perfume. I tried it and it turned out to be mild. I have been wearing it for formal occasions ever since.

It is a common trend for designers to release their own scents after having established themselves as fashion designers.
