overcoming panic attacks
Most of us are living stressful lives. We must do all we can to simplify our lives. If not, stress will kill you. One of the effects of stress is panic attacks. Panic attacks can occur anytime when you are stressed. It is an overwhelming fear caused by anything. You can actually feel it creep up from your stomach and affect every part of your body. Once it happens, overcoming panic attacks is your most pressing problem.
Panic attacks can kill you if left uncheck. I’m a triathlete and one of my greatest fears is drowning. When the race starts and hundreds of us start to swim jockeying for position happens. Panic sets in. You feel the cold water and you think about drowning. You suddenly feel fear creeping up from the pits of your stomach. Suddenly it’s very hard to breath. If left uncheck, I’ll drown. Overcoming panic attacks at this time is my top priority. I slow down my breathing. I concentrate on it as well as my swimming form. Slowly, the attack disappears.
