Causes and Symptoms of Panic Attack
A panic attack comes suddenly and is described to be an episode of intense fear or apprehension. It is not exactly clear what triggers it in a person but certain possible causes have been identified. Some of these are inherited; others are due to biological causes and the intake of medication. Some who have experienced it have actual phobias on certain things or happenings. Withdrawal of drugs, alcohol and medication has also caused panic attack on some people.
There is a long list of common panic attack symptoms. Experience may vary from person to person. Some common panic attack symptoms are rapid heartbeat, sweating, chest pain, nausea, chills and hot flushes. Yes, they can be mistaken for a heart attack. People suffering from panic attack will seldom come to harm. However, they will feel very tired and shaky when the attack subsides.
