When Anxiousness Can Be Harmful
Being anxious about things is a normal reaction to stressful situations. It helps a person deal with tense moments. Generally, anxiety is a coping mechanism but when it becomes excessive and lead to irrational dread of everyday situations, it becomes an anxiety disorder.
Anxiety attacks manifest through physical outcomes like nausea, chest pain, stomach ache, headache, or heart palpitations. The blood pressure and heart rate increase, there is amplified sweating while immune and digestive system functions become evident. Other external signs of anxiety attacks can include paling of skin, trembling, etc.
