athletic wrapping tape

It provides compression in the same way that the elastic wrap does. But the athletic wrapping tape is a better alternative to the elastic wrap. It is so much cheaper and the clear film allows inspection of the injury. Made of 100% hospital-grade cotton cloth these are impregnated with zinc-oxide. It offers tensile strength and excellent conformability. It handles well and can be unwrapped easily.

A tape job works well for mild sprains or when you just need some extra support. When done correctly, it can be very effective. The thing is there are different ways of taping depending on the need. For a sprained ankle, for example, the ‘basket weave’ is the simplest ankle-taping method. It is also more effective when someone else does it for you.
