Much has been said about the pros and cons of stem cell technology. To this day it still remains a controversial issue. What stem cell research hopes to accomplish is to cultivate and nurture the basic cell of the body. In doing so, it will be able to reproduce specific parts of the body that can be used to cure illnesses. The benefits of stem cells are obvious. New treatments can be developed for certain illnesses that are still looking for affordable and dependable cure. This will apply to diseases such as diabetes, heart disease, some forms of cancer and even Parkinson’s disease.
The benefits of stem cells are undeniable. However, there exists a widespread controversy over stem cell research. It emanates from the techniques used in the creation and usage of stem cells. The cells are obtained from cells in human embryos or fetuses. Embryonic stem cell research is particularly controversial because, with the present state of technology, starting an embryonic stem cell line requires the destruction of a human embryo.

I’m a very pale person. My skin color can only be described as sickly. Even if I stay out in the sun the whole day, my skin color just gets dull. To get color and look healthy, I use a spray on tan. It really works for me since I can have tanned skin in no time sans being exposed to the sun’s harmful rays.
A spray on tan gives my skin a healthy glow. Also, the tan I get is not spotty. One session will give me a tan approximately for a week. It is also cheaper and safer than using a tanning bed. Just get a professional to do it so that you won’t look orange.

Difficulty in going to the bathroom is a common problem among senior citizens. One of the most practical solutions is the use of adult briefs. These things have already been used for a long time by those who suffer from illnesses such as incontinence, mobility impairment or dementia that prevent them from using the toilet. Adult briefs are also very helpful to bedridden and wheelchair bound patients.
Adult briefs or diapers for grownups have several advantages:
~They provide more freedom
~They remove the need to constantly go to the bathroom and thus save time
~They decrease the risk of infections when there is lack of decent public toilet facilities
~They ease the stress of people who suffer from incontinence and are fearful of embarrassing themselves in public

Milk has long been recognized for its moisturizing properties. Cleopatra knew of this property even in those early times. That is why she was said to bathe in a tub of milk. In modern times, people who are fans of goat milk are those who suffer from skin allergies, itchiness and eczema. It can be due to dry skin or to some skin disease. Goat milk may not be able to cure the condition completely, but it definitely helps to contain its spread.
Handmade goat milk soap is especially beneficial health wise. Because they are made in small batches, more nutrients are retained. While commercial soaps are stripped of natural glycerin, handmade soaps retain them in addition to vitamins, minerals and elements that are naturally good for the skin. Try using goat milk soap and you will feel softness in the skin. You will never suffer from dry skin again.

Set the mood in your home and enjoy a relaxing evening. Few things are more relaxing than sitting back and inhaling the exotic scents of far away places evoked by a smoking incense bottle. Watch the fragrant smoke of your favorite incense scent escape the bottle in endless, wonderful shapes.
A smoking incense bottle is the safest and cleanest way to burn incense with. You simply insert the lighted stick into the split ring and suspend it inside the bottle from the top with the stick upside down. This way, the ashes drop inside the bottle and won’t leave a mess on your table or be blown in the air.

An elderly couple had dinner at another couple’s house, and after eating, the wives left the table and went into the kitchen. The two elderly gentlemen were talking, and one said, “Last night we went out to a new restaurant, and it was really great. I would recommend it very highly.” The other man said, “What’s the name of the restaurant?” The first man knits his brow in obvious concentration, and finally said to his companion, “Aahh, What is the name of that red flower you give to someone you love? His friend said, “Do you mean a rose?” Yes that’s it. Thank you!” the first man says. He then turns toward the kitchen and yells, “Rose, what’s the name of that restaurant we went to last night?”
Funny senior moment joke I came across somewhere. The reality is that this happens a lot even to younger folks. People of all ages are eager to know how to improve memory and here are a few tips:~Involve as many senses as possible. We usually read silently but reading out loud will help your memory.~Relate information to what you already know. New material that builds on previous knowledge is easily remembered.~Rehearse information frequently. Over-learning is a good thing. Recalling it becomes second nature.~Keep a positive attitude. Constantly admitting that you have a bad memory actually hampers the brain’s ability to remember.

Having high levels of cholesterol in your blood can increase your risk for stroke or heart attack. One of the most common advice doctors give to patients with high levels of cholesterol is for them to eat healthy meals and have regular exercise. Adding flaxseed or flaxseed oil which is rich in healthy omega-3 fatty acids to their diet can also be an effective way to lower dangerously high cholesterol levels.
I was so impressed with flaxseed oil that I decided to do research on it. Based on my research, flaxseed oil was considered by many nutritionists as the most important supplement next only to multi vitamins. Studies have shown that it can prevent cancer as well as heart disease. It can also help in the fight against obesity.
