To make sure that you are getting enough nutrients from your vegan diet, here is a food guide pyramid that you can follow.

Include the following foods every day: ~6 or more servings of grains, beans, and starchy vegetables ~3 to 5 servings of vegetables ~2 to 4 servings of fruits ~2 to 3 servings of calcium -rich food ~2 to 3 servings of protein foods such as legumes, tofu, or nuts ~Fats, oils, and sweets in moderation Consult your nutritionist for suggestions on protein sources for a vegan diet.
