How to Relieve Tinnitus

Everyone has experienced Tinnitus at one point or another. Tinnitus is noise that originates from inside the ear instead of the outside environment, and it may affect both ears. This happens when you’re standing too close to an amplifier during a rock concert, or a firecracker exploded nearby. The sound is described as a ringing or buzzing sound, and it can be a short-term or long-term condition. Unfortunately, it does not have a cure.

There are treatments available for tinnitus relief. The first step is earwax removal. EENT doctors can remove hardened, impacted earwax that could be the cause of the ringing sound. White noise machines can also help by masking the ringing noise with soothing sounds that makes sleeping easier. Some people with this condition seek relief from using herbs and minerals as an alternative.
