liquid vitamins

Are liquid forms of vitamins really more effective than their solid counterparts? The argument for liquid vitamins is that they have a higher level of absorption. It is said that the absorption rate of liquid vitamins is around 98% which makes it almost total absorption. It starts almost as soon as they are swallowed whereas solid vitamins have to be liquefied before they can be absorbed. Solid vitamins also have other ingredients that further delay absorption.

Another advantage of liquid vitamins is that they are easier to swallow. In fact, the liquid forms of any medication are the best form that can be given to children. They are also most convenient for the elderly and those with difficulty in swallowing. The only problem is that liquid vitamins should taste good because you can actually taste it as it goes down the throat. Pills can be swallowed without being tasted.
