Keep Children Safe from BPA
According to the Food and Drugs Administration, Bisphenol A or BPA is a chemical which can mimic human estrogen and which is linked to breast cancer and early puberty in women. Some studies have also shown that it may be linked to reproductive problems and increased risk of cancer or diabetes. BPA is used in the lining of tin cans and in plastics such as baby bottles.
Many organizations warn that BPA can leach from these containers and may cause illnesses especially in children and pregnant women. Keep your children safe by buying them BPA free water bottles that they can bring to school or along for a ride in the car. Choose a bottle in a color and design that appeals to your little one and make sure it has a spill proof drink valve.
