People as young as pre-retirement age already dread for their senior years. Several illnesses are associated as we get older. However, studies have shown that signs of aging can be delayed if they engage in senior exercise program. This is typically tailored to prevent individuals from major chronic diseases. Before anybody could engage in any program, he should consult his physician first.
There are four major training activities involved in a typical senior exercise program:~Cardiovascular – activities that could pump the heart; walking, swimming, biking~Strength – for stronger muscles; resistance equipments like dumbbells, rubber~Balance – to gain control on strengthened muscles~Flexibility – to loosen over-tight muscles
