I wonder if it is wise to get your own equipment and do your routines at home. The most obvious advantage of working at home is that you don’t exert extra time and effort to get to the gym. On the other hand, you can be distracted with minor events at home and find it difficult to stick to a schedule. Exercising in the gym has the advantage of professionals who will advice you on the correct way to do the exercises. Depending on how disciplined you are, working at home can be a boon or a disaster.
Getting some fitness equipment for your use at home is not a bad idea at all. There are things to consider, though. Determine your goals so that you can choose the right equipment. Whatever machine it is that you think you need, make sure that you have the available space for it. Look closely at your budget. Is it worth the cost? Consider your needs, do your math and shop wisely.
