senior workout exercises

As we age, our muscle mass decreases such that the decline goes up to 1 to 2 percent per year after the age of 50. Muscles keep our bodies strong. It burns calories, helps maintain weight and contributes to balance and bone strength. Without muscle mass, one may lose independence and mobility.

The good news is, muscle mass can be built through exercise. Studies show that senior workout exercises are very helpful in increasing old people’s endurance due to higher muscle mass. Higher endurance to exercise means getting more energy to do more things every day.
