Different Uses of Essential Oils

There are different uses of essential oils. It is a necessary part of daily grooming -in our soaps and perfumes. Organic essential oils are used to provide fragrance to products that are commonly used in the home such as room fresheners and candles. They are widely used to ease unpleasant emotions. Anger is relieved by chamomile, jasmine, rosemary or ylang-ylang. Impatience may be allayed by chamomile, frankincense and lavender.

Some essential oils are also being used for their therapeutic effects. Essential oils of eucalyptus, lemon or pine are great for helping respiratory problems brought on by colds and flu. This is done by adding them to a bowl of hot water and placing a towel over the head while breathing deeply. Essential oils are also a big part in therapeutic massage. An aromatherapy treatment will trigger the body’s natural healing process. Oils such as lavender and chamomile relax tight muscles and improve blood circulation.
