Lots of people dread aging because of the many unpleasant conditions that go with it. This is the reason why pre-retirement individuals should engage in senior fitness programs. These programs aim to promote a sense of wellness so we could delay the signs of aging. Risk factors of diseases related to old age can be minimized. It will also make a senior feel good despite his age.
The most common and beneficial activities involved in senior fitness are the following:~Aerobics – improves oxygen intake thus brings about more energy in the body~Stretching – for improved flexibility, good posture and relieves muscle tension~Strength training – raises bone density and builds stronger bones
