Since I have a grandmother who is still alive, I am very bothered by the news on elderly abuse which I have been hearing over the news. There have been reports which reveal certain cases when individuals tend to violate and hurt the elderly especially since they are fragile and can no longer fight or defend themselves. This is an act that is totally unbecoming especially when these elderly people are human beings too.

This is the reason why it is crucial for me to take good care of my grandmother very well. If the time comes when I would need to seek the assistance of a professional in order to take care of her, I must ensure that the same violence does not happen to her. She has been an important part of my life, and I simply cannot leave my grandmother out just because she is of no use to me.
