I live in a tropical climate. It’s warm all year round. The good news is that most of us who live here can get a tan anytime.The bad news is the sun also damages our skin. As a makeup artist I have had to deal with my own dry lips as well as dry and chapped lips of my clients.This is why I have learned to carry lip moisturizers with me all the time.

I always tell my clients to put lip moisturizers on their lips before applying lipstick. A lip moisturizer will help prevent dry lips. It also moisturizes the lips so that when lipstick is applied, it is not applied on chapped and dry skin. Lipstick on dry skin is not attractive. The lipstick tends to clump, some areas will appear thicker than others.
