applying lipstick

Choosing the color of your lipstick should depend on the natural shade of your lips and skin. Recommended for dark skin tones are tinges of plums, wines and deep reds. For lighter skin tones, use light brown beiges with pink or orange undertones. On the other hand, olive skin will look good with brownish reds, light browns and raisin shades.

When applying lipstick, keep colors lighter for daytime and darker for night use. A high-gloss finish will add glamour for an evening out while matte and cream finishes offer a subtler look during the day. If you prefer some shimmer for day use, opt for a natural-looking hue with a little shine on it.
