increase muscle mass

I’ve been very athletic all my life. I was a member of the track team in both high school and college. Since high school I always wanted to increase muscle mass while lose some fat. I know that I can perform so much better if I lose the excess weight.

So to increase muscle mass I tried to eat 5 to 6 times a day. I would eat my three major meals and eat two to three snacks of boiled chicken breast. I also tried to sleep at least eight hours a day. By doing this two things, I speed up my metabolism. My muscle mass grew while my fat percentage went down.
